Friday Night

Well, April Fools day is nearly over. I have, thus far, escaped unscathed. There were loads of antics in the lab today, it was a good time. I have not heard that many people laughing in one place. Rather refreshing. I work with a great grooup of people. Very relaxed, fun atmosphere. It makes for a great working environment.

It's been a fairly un eventful Friday evening/night. My wife and I tried to make it somewhere on the bus by 5pm, and the bus we needed was about 13 minutes late, and that would have put us at our destination after closing. Gotta love public transit. That's really been the excitement of the post work day. Other than that, just hanging out, watching TV, tinkering on the computer(s) and what not.

Not a lot of excitement around here on a Friday night. But then, with no car, it is rough to get out and about. Public transportation does not make for the most exciting evening out. A car is very definately something we are going to pursue in several months. So for now, it's the bus. It's not so bad really, work pays for my annual bus pass. That is a huge savings for me. So I ride for free anywhere anytime.

Well, that's it for tonight. We'll shall see what tomorrow holds when it gets here.
